CANTON
Domestic disturbance: A husband and wife who live at 2180 Jefferson Ave. are facing charges following a domestic incident last week at their residence. State police said Seth Michael Allum, 34, and Michele Lee Allum, 40, had argued at 3 a.m. Jan. 18 before they started striking each other. Police said she had injuries to her nose and chest, while he had injuries to his lip, face and finger. Both were charged with simple assault and harassment.
CROSS CREEK
Assault charge: Shayne Anthony Chapman, 29, of 4 Paris Road, Avella, was charged by state police with simple assault and harassment following a domestic disturbance at his residence Jan. 18. Police said Chapman punched a woman twice, once in the temple and once in the mouth. Police said the woman’s face was bruised and she had a chipped tooth.
DAISYTOWN
Terroristic threats charge: J. Alan Messinger, 28, of 183 Sunset Drive, was charged by West Pike Run Township police with two counts of terroristic threats after he allegedly left a voicemail on a relative’s phone Jan. 7. In the message, he allegedly said he would beat up a police officer and “blow up the police station,” according to the criminal complaint.
MONESSEN
Man charged: Brian A. Lowther, 40, of Monessen, is charged by city police with trespassing over allegations he entered Valley Manor, 331 Third St., about 10:20 a.m. Jan. 17 after previously being told he was not permitted on the property, court records show. Senior District Judge Herbert Mitchell issued the charge Tuesday in a summons.
ROSTRAVER
Man jailed: Antwane Lamar Cunningham, 26, of 972 Thompson Ave., Donora, is charged by Rostraver police with criminal trespassing/breaking into a structure, court records show. Police accuse Cunningham of locking a woman out of her residence in Rostraver Apartment about 8:45 p.m. Sunday. Police obtained a key from maintenance to enter the apartment and take him into custody. Cunningham was placed in Westmoreland County jail on $10,000 bond set by District Judge Joseph R. DeMarchis.
SOUTH STRABANE
Public drunkenness: Township police responded to Walmart Jan. 17 for a report of a man locked in a bathroom stall. Police said the man was sitting on the floor and yelling. He allegedly was high and “inhaling duster from a canister,” police said. The man was cited for public drunkenness.
WASHINGTON
Burglary: City police are investigating a break-in that was reported Monday morning at Stainbrook Collision, 55 W. Railroad St. Police said someone had forced entry into the building, disconnected surveillance cameras and stole the hard drive for the camera system.
