A Fayette County man suffered a minor injury in a rollover crash at Southpointe Wednesday morning.

Cecil Township police Officer Richard Oddi said that Michael Magazine, 54, of Adah, was driving north on Town Center Boulevard just after 8 a.m., when he lost control of his vehicle, which struck a tree before rolling down a hillside into a parking lot.

Magazine’s leg was stuck between the steering wheel and the windshield, Oddi said, so firefighters from Cecil, Canonsburg and North Strabane removed the windshield and the top of the car in order to extricate him.

Magazine was then taken ambulance to St. Clair Hospital for evaluation of a leg injury.

“He was in pretty good condition when he left,” Oddi said.

When Magazine’s car rolled into the parking lot, it struck another parked vehicle, Oddi said, but no one was inside and no other injuries were reported.
