SOUTH STRABANE

Retail theft charge: Curtis Gayle Sumey, 40, of 152 Second St., Chestnut Ridge, was charged by township police with retail theft after he allegedly stole more than $600 worth of electronics from Target Dec. 17.

Retail theft charge: Eric David Pizzi, 41, of 4060 Dividend Drive, South Franklin Township, was charged by township police with retail theft after he allegedly stole a drill from Home Depot Dec. 23. Police said when the store’s loss-prevention officer stopped him at the door, Pizzi held up a McDonald’s receipt, trying to pass it off as if he had paid for the drill.

WASHINGTON

Drug charges: Danielle Leigh Lloyd, 29, of 31 N. Main St., Washington, was charged by city police with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension, following a November traffic stop in the 700 block of West Chestnut Street. Police said they found in Lloyd’s purse two stamp bags of heroin, three hypodermic needles, a straw, a spoon and a small bag of methamphetamine.
