South Fayette teacher attending White House History Teacher Institute
Felix Yerace, a government teacher at South Fayette High School, has been selected to attend the White House Historical Association’s White House History Teacher Institute in July.
During his weeklong visit to Washington D.C., Yerace will take a private tour of the White House, learn about new education technology developed by the White House Historical Association, and hear talks led by former White House staffers and historians.
The White House History Teacher Institute will take place at the White House Historical Association’s David M. Rubenstein Center for White House History, located just a block from the White House. Teacher Institute participants were selected from a competitive pool of candidates and represent more than 30 states.
