CHARLEROI
Woman charged: Brianne Venneri, 19, of 838 Shady Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and causing an accident involving unattended vehicles, court records show. Police said the vehicle she was driving left its lane of travel and caused a crash damaging three vehicles about 6:45 p.m. May 16 in the 400 block of Meadow Avenue. Police filed the charges Wednesday before District Judge Larry Hopkins.
MONESSEN
Assault alleged: Teon D. Stitch, 26, of 10 Reed Ave., Monessen, is charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct over allegations he pushed a woman, causing her to fall to the ground about 2:30 p.m. July 4 at 507 Park Manor Road. A senior district judge issued the charges Wednesday in a summons.
WASHINGTON
Stolen firearm: A firearm was stolen from a vehicle on McGowan Avenue between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning, according to city police. A fully loaded Smith & Wesson Shield EZ .380 semi-automatic pistol was stolen from the glove box of the vehicle, which was left unlocked overnight, according to police.
