At least 10 shots fired at vehicle in Washington
At least 10 shots were fired at a vehicle in the 10 block of Dewey Avenue Thursday night, according to Washington police.
Police were dispatched to the area about 8:40 p.m. A witness at the scene told police that a white sedan was parked when someone in a black Pontiac fired multiple shots at the vehicle and the two people inside.
The two men in the white sedan fled through yards toward Prospect Avenue, and the Pontiac drove away, the witness said.
However, the passenger in the white vehicle, Marcellus Crooks, remained in the area and told police he was with Will Chandler.
According to police, Crooks said Chandler parked the vehicle to wait for someone, and someone in the Pontiac began shooting at them. Crooks said he does not know who the assailant was.
Police found 10 shell casings on the road and a bullet hole in the gutter of a home on Prospect Avenue.
