Cecil Township

Resisting arrest, other charges: A Canonsburg man faces several charges following his July 21 arrest by Cecil Township police. According to court records, Tyrone A. Lett, 50, is charged with resisting arrest; institutional vandalism, educational facility; disorderly conduct, unreasonable noise; disorderly conduct, engaging in fighting; public drunkenness; and scattering rubbish. Lett was placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. Aug. 1 before District Judge Traci McDonald.

Donora

Multiple charges: A Monessen resident faces several charges after his July 20 arrest by Donora police. According to court records, Andrue Allon Prittchet, 28, was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger on charges of possession of a controlled substance, carrying firearms without a license, possessing firearms when prohibited from doing so, careless driving and reckless driving. He also was charged with two counts each of endangering the welfare of children and failure to use child booster seats. Prittchet was placed in Washington County jail on $15,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled at 11 a.m. July 31 before District Judge Mark Wilson.

Independence Township

Aggravated assault, other charges: Robert Duritza, 34, of Washington was arrested July 20 by McDonald police and faces multiple charges related to an incident that occurred in Independence Township. Duritza was arraigned by District Judge Robert Redlinger on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, resisting arrest, loitering and prowling at night, and disorderly conduct, according to court records. He was placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. July 29 before District Judge Ethan Ward

Smith Township

Simple assault, other charges: A Bulger man faces three charges, including simple assault, following his July 20 arrest by Smith Township police. Robert T. Kunkle, 23, also is charged with harassment and disorderly conduct, engaging in fighting, according to court records. He was placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Aug. 1 before District Judge Gary Havelka.
