CHARLEROI

Residence entered: Geena Maria Shrader, 25, of 1127 Second St., Monessen, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with criminal mischief and felony trespassing, court record show. Police accuse her of kicking in the front door of 208 Shady Ave. to retrieve her belongings about 3 pm. July 18. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charges Tuesday in a summons.

Women arraigned: Ambrea Alexis Taylor, 24, of 1005 Upper Crest Ave., Charleroi, and Laquanda D. Thompson, 27, of 100 Third St., California Borough, are charged by Charleroi Regional police with felony trespassing, court records show. Taylor also is charged with harassing the resident, Jamilah Toure, after the two suspects allegedly crawled through a window to enter 113 Lincoln Ave. about 6:30 p.m. July 18. District Judge Larry Hopkins released them Tuesday, each on $5,000 unsecured bond.

Assault alleged: Jacob Sherman, 24, of 1001 McKean Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with simple assault and harassment over allegations he slapped Hannah Labbe in the face about 7 p.m. Monday in their residence, court records show. Sherman is free on $10,000 bond set by District Judge Gary Havelka.

Drug case: Cammie Elaine Worthy, 23, of Huntingdon, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia stemming from a traffic stop about 9:20 p.m. July 16 in the 700 block of McKean Avenue, court records show. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charges Monday in a summons.

EAST BETHLEHEM

Man jailed: Joseph Dennis Caputo, 32, of 114 Frederick Terrace, East Bethlehem Township, is charged by Centerville police with simple assault over accusations he grabbed and injured the right arm of his pregnant girlfriend, Felicia Gordon, about 11 a.m. Monday in his residence, court records show. He was placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

HANOVER

Assault alleged: Christopher William Pavel, 41, of Weirton, W.Va., was charged with simple assault by township police Monday. According to the criminal complaint, at about 9:20 p.m. Sunday, Pavel repeatedly punched Richard Smith in the face at a home on McCracken Hill Road. Pavel was released from Washington County jail after posting $10,000 bond.

NORTH CHARLEROI

Theft alleged: Joseph C. Douglas, 42, of 1103 ½ Meadow Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with theft from a motor vehicle, theft, receiving stolen property, public drunkenness, loitering and disorderly conduct, court records show. Police accuse Douglas of taking the keys from the ignition of a vehicle stopped in the 300 block of Route 88 about 4:15 a.m. July 17, leaving a woman stranded after he ran off. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charges Monday in a summons.
