Trinity Area High School will be saying goodbye to the Class of 2019 Friday.

There are eight valedictorians, one salutatorian and one honor graduate who will be recognized during the ceremony.

Valedictorian Austin Aber, son of Scott and Mary Aber, plans to attend Pennsylvania State University to study industrial engineering. During high school, he was a member of National Honor Society and the varsity soccer team.

Valedictorian Brianna Dinch, daughter of Dave and Erin Dinch, received the Eva and Iva Cowley scholarship. She will be studying nursing at West Virginia University.

Valedictorian Maria Cimino, daughter of Pete and Amy Cimino, is recognized as an AP Scholar and received the Kent State University Trustee Scholarship. She is majoring in psychology at Kent State University.

Valedictorian Julia Faust, daughter of Michael and Stephanie Faust, is attending Pennsylvanian State University to study biochemistry and molecular biology. She received the Ben Carson Scholarship and is an AP Scholar.

Valedictorian Jackson MacTaggart, son of Scot and Rebecca MacTaggart, plans to study astronomy and astrophysics at Pennsylvania State University. He is an AP Scholar and received the Commendation for National Merit Scholarship.

Valedictorian Anna Poach, daughter of Edward and Holly Poach, will be attending Allegheny College. Poach received the Rotary Club of Washington Dr. Douglas Maciola Academic Achievement Scholarship.

Valedictorian Rexanna Quedenfeld, daughter of Eric and Heather Quedenfeld, will be double majoring in biomedical and mechanical engineering at Pennsylvania State University. She is an AP Scholar and received the Pennsylvania State University College of Engineering Scholarship.

Valedictorian Macy Reynolds, daughter of Stacy Reynolds, will be attending Belmont University to study elementary education. Reynolds received the Belmont University Merit Scholarship.

Salutatorian Christopher “Matthew” Day, son of Steve and Lori Day, received the Pennsylvania State University Engineering Scholarship to study at PSU for computer science or data science engineering.

Honor graduate Opemipo Esan, son of Adegboyega and Olakemi Esan, will attend Pennsylvania State University to pursue computer science. Esan received the Penn State Millennium Scholars Program scholarship.

Trinity graduates will throw their caps in the air at 6:15 p.m. Friday at the school.
