The Class of 2019 at Ringgold High School will graduate Thursday night.

Celebrating 226 graduating students, the commencement will start at 7 p.m. in the school’s gymnasium.

Valedictorian is John Lignelli, and the salutatorian is Trent Gerard.

Student speakers include class President Maggie Lucas, Hannah Cheplic and Madelyn Koontz.

Lignelli will be attending Yale University. He is a recipient of the EQT Students of Excellence Scholarship and the Washington, Fayette and Greene County Counselors Foundation Scholarship. He participated in soccer, swimming and tennis while in school. Lignelli is also a National Merit Commended Student.

Gerard will attend Pennsylvania State University and is a recipient of the National NROTC Scholarship and Ralph Young Scholarship. He was on the wrestling team.
