Donora man wanted in attempted homicide
DONORA – A Donora man is wanted on charges including attempted homicide in connection with a stabbing Tuesday in the borough.
District Judge Mark Wilson signed a warrant in the case Wednesday for the arrest of Westley Sloan, 29, of 681 McKean Ave., court records show.
Police accuse Sloan of stabbing Franswal Rice several times with a knife during an altercation about 7 p.m. in the 600 block of Thompson Avenue.
Rice suffered serious life-threatening injuries, police stated in charging documents.
Police released no additional details about the stabbing in court regards.
Sloan is also charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.
