Trio of men charged for violent 2018 Claysville brawl
Warrants have been issued for three men involved in a violent fight last October in Claysville.
Andrew Fenner, 30, Michael Fenner, 29, and Harry Dennis, 30, were all charged with assault by state police Thursday. Andrew Fenner received a misdemeanor for simple assault, while Michael Fenner and Dennis are facing felony aggravated assault charges.
Andrew and Michael Fenner are brothers, and both have a last known address of 134 Main St., Claysville. The criminal complaint notes they no longer reside there and their current whereabouts are unknown. Dennis is from 111 N. Eisenhower Drive, Beckley, W.Va.
All three were at a South Strabane Township bar about 1:45 a.m. Oct. 7 when Andrew Fenner and Dennis got into a fight in the parking lot.
Andrew and Michael Fenner returned home and began arguing about the fight outside their residence. A neighbor asked them to be quiet because her child was sleeping. One of the brothers responded by telling the neighbor they would “break her jaw,” according to the complaint.
The neighbor called Tyler Bedillion, a friend who lives in the same building, about the threat. Bedillion and Michael Slider then went to the Fenners’ home. Both Bedillion and Slider were at the bar with Dennis.
When the two men arrived, Andrew Fenner hit Bedillion in the head with a glass beer bottle, police said. Michael Fenner hit both men in the head with a metal pry bar, according to the complaint. While the fight was occurring, Dennis arrived at the house. Bedillion and Slider fled. Dennis allegedly punched Michael Fenner’s girlfriend in the head multiple times until she fell to the ground, police said. Dennis then punched Andrew Fenner until he went to the ground and continued punching and kicking him in the head, face and body until he was unconscious, according to the complaint.
Andrew Fenner had to be flown to a hospital for treatment.
