Man shot in Ellsworth parking lot
A man was flown by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital after being shot outside an Ellsworth bar Friday night.
State police said the 49-year-old man was shot in the parking lot of the Crazy Horse tavern, 28 S. Main St., just before 9 p.m. He was a patron at the bar. He was shot in the head and neck area.
He was found by his brother, who drove him to the nearby Bentleyville Volunteer Fire Department to meet an ambulance. The man was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital. State police are investigating. No arrests have yet been made.
The man’s name was not released by police and his condition was not immediately known.
