AMWELL
Driver hurt: Charles E. Morris, 52, of Pittsburgh, was injured when his vehicle ran off Amity Ridge Road near Baker Station Road about 12:45 a.m. Sunday, state police said. The vehicle traveled up an embankment, became airborne and hit a tree. Morris was taken to Washington Hospital.
CHARLEROI
Assault alleged: Damian James Pearce, 20, of 521 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with strangulation, aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment, making terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct, court records show. The charges stem from a disturbance at his residence that involved alleged victim Jessica Pinchok. She lodged the complaint about 5:15 p.m. March 3. District Judge Larry Hopkins signed a warrant Monday for Pearce’s arrest.

Truck overturns: A Peterbilt truck driven by Walter R. Rohm, 49, of Houston, failed to make a turn and overturned on Prosperity Pike near Cash Day Road at 11:40 p.m. Sunday, state police said. Rohm was not hurt but will be cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.
NOTTINGHAM
Man scammed: Ian Cushey, 29, of Nottingham Township, told state police Friday he was scammed out of $3,600 by purchasing and depositing three money orders, state police said.

Assault charge: John Fredrick Fisher Jr., 58, of 2529 Bigger Road, Bulger, was charged by McDonald police with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly punched his girlfriend in the face about 9:41 p.m. Monday at their residence.
