CENTERVILLE
Assault alleged: Tina Marie Johns, 52, of 141 Hancock Road, Centerville, is charged by state police with strangulation, simple assault and harassment, court records show. Police accuse Johns of choking Laura Lynn Dulay about 11:45 p.m. Tuesday in their residence. Johns is free on $15,000 unsecured bond set by District Judge Traci McDonald.
MONESSEN
Assault alleged: Martha Ellen Jackson, 60, of 331 Third St., Valley Manor, Monessen, is charged by city police with simple assault and harassment over allegations she struck Lisa Roberts several times in the mouth about 7 p.m. March 7 at the apartment building, court records show. A senior district judge issued the charges Tuesday in a summons.
MONONGAHELA
Drug arrest: Tyler Majors, 26, of 723 Ninth St., Monessen, is charged by Monongahela police with drug possession with intent to deliver and drug possession, court records show. Police claim to have seized from Majors 4.6 grams of crack and $832 after a vehicle in which he was a passenger struck a utility pole about 1:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of East Main Street. Majors was placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond set by District Judge Traci McDonald.
WASHINGTON
Man jailed: Anthony Sutterfield, 22, of 275 North Ave., Washington, is charged by city police with theft and trespassing, court records show. He is accused of entering property owned by Budd Bear while he worked at the 71 Murtland Ave. business and driving away with one of its vehicles without permission about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. Sutterfield is in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond set by District Judge Robert Redlinger.
WEST BROWNSVILLE
Liquor violations: The Legion Club of West Brownsville, 800 Middle St., was cited Wednesday by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement with holding illegal daily drawings and selling alcohol to nonmembers. The violations allegedly occurred from September through January.
