The Irish quintet Goitse will be playing at Washington & Jefferson College’s Olin Fine Arts Center Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

Goitse, pronounced “Go-witcha,” is an informal Gaelic Irish greeting meaning “come here.” A traditional Irish ensemble, Goitse has released four critically acclaimed recordings and maintains a year-round touring schedule that includes performances throughout Ireland, Germany, Britain, France and the United States. Irish Music Magazine has said Goitse creates music “that’s brimming with energy and creative zeal.”
