Bridge in Robinson to be replaced

The bridge that carries Maple Grove Road over Route 22 in Robinson Township will be demolished and replaced, requiring traffic pattern changes on both roads.

Maple Grove Road will be closed and detoured starting April 1 through July 31, 2019. Demolition and beam removal will take place from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. April 1 and continuing nightly with a tentative completion date of  April 12. The contractor will then rebuild the bridge.

A marked detour will be in place.

Route 22 at the bridge will be closed during the nightly demolitions from 8 a.m. to 6 a.m. from April 1 through April 12, tentatively.

A nightly detour will be in place. The contractor on this $5.4 million project is Swank Construction.
