BENTLEYVILLE

Assault charge: Damien R. Harris, 35, of 307 Oliver Ave., faces charges of strangulation, simple assault, disorderly conduct, harassment and possession of a small amount of marijuana after he was allegedly involved in a domestic dispute Thursday at his home, Bentleyville police said. Brittany Sicchitano told police that Harris pushed her to the ground, strangled her and kicked her in the head. He also allegedly punched her in the face. Two baggies of marijuana were found in his possession, police said. Sicchitano also faces charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct, harassment and possession of a small amount of marijuana for allegedly punching Harris multiple times. The charges against Harris will proceed by summons.

CANTON

Assault alleged: Bobbie Jo Deems, 31, and her husband, Nicholas Charles Deems, 34, both of 945 Jessop Place, were charged with simple assault and harassment following a domestic disturbance at their residence Sunday. Police said Nicholas pushed Bobbie Jo over a couch and punched her in the head multiple times before Bobbie Jo pushed him to the floor and punched him multiple times.

FINLEYVILLE

Liquor violations alleged: Roy’s By the Tracks, 3710 Route 88, was cited last week by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for selling alcohol to an intoxicated person on Nov. 19 and for allowing smoking on multiple occasions.

MONESSEN

Man charged: Tavorres McNatt, 22, of 559 Schoonmaker Ave., Monessen, is charged by city police with flight to avoid apprehension, harassment and public drunkenness stemming from a domestic call to his residence about 7:30 p.m. Friday, court records show. District Judge Helen M. Kistler remanded McNatt to Westmoreland County Jail on $10,000 bond.

SOUTH STRABANE

Drug charges: Jesse James Stoner, 26, of 363 N. Main St., Houston, was charged by state police with possession with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop Saturday afternoon on Interstate 79. Police said they found a large bag of marijuana in Stoner’s car.

WASHINGTON

Assault alleged: Eric Lamont Vayson, 47, of Pittsburgh, was charged by Washington police with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and harassment after he allegedly pistol-whipped his girlfriend’s ex-husband Saturday morning. Police said Vayson allegedly showed up at James Johnson’s Washington home with a gun in his hoodie pocket about 7:30 a.m. Vayson allegedly asked Johnson, “Do you want to start this?” before striking Johnson in the face and head with the gun multiple times, according to the criminal complaint. Vayson then allegedly told Johnson, “If you bother me one more time, I’m going to shoot you,” the complaint said. Police said Johnson was treated at Washington Hospital.
