CECIL

Assault alleged: Christopher John Holloman, 42, of 1110 Valleyview Drive, Lawrence, was charged with simple assault and harassment by township police Monday. According to the criminal complaint, Holloman pushed and slapped a woman at his residence. He was placed in Washington County Jail and arraigned before District Judge David Mark, who set bond at $5,000.

CHARLEROI

Couple charged: William Murray Griffin III, 34, of Pittsburgh, and Shavon Shavell Stephens, 27, of 202 Oakland Ave., Charleroi, are charged with simple assault and harassment stemming from a fight they allegedly had in her residence about 10 p.m. April 25, court records show. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charges Monday by summons.

NORTH FRANKLIN

Resisting arrest: Robert Wayne Noble Jr., 55, of 411 W. Maiden St., was charged Monday by state police with driving under the influence, escape, resisting arrest, fleeing or attempting to elude officers, recklessly endangering another person and numerous traffic violations. According to the criminal complaint, Noble fled from police at high speeds when they attempted to pull him over for traffic violations. Police said he eventually pulled into the driveway of his residence and fled on foot before officers caught and arrested him. He was placed in Washington County Jail and arraigned before District Judge David Mark, who set bond at $10,000.

ROBINSON

Assault alleged: Jacob Beaver, 30, of 1034 Candor Road, Bulger, was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, possession of drug paraphernalia and harassment. According to the criminal complaint, Beaver attacked his father by punching him in the stomach several times, causing “substantial pain with possible broken ribs.” Beaver was placed in Washington County and Jail and arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald, who denied bail.

WASHINGTON

Burglary: City police are investigating a burglary that occurred between April 26 and April 29 at Hoy Automotive and Machine, 137 Hall Ave. According to police, someone stole $6,000 worth of tools from the business.

Burglary: City police received a report of a burglary that occurred Saturday at an apartment on Murtland Avenue. According to police, a woman said someone entered her apartment while she was sleeping and stole $80, Tylenol and loose change.

Assault alleged: Michael George Jackson, 43, of 106 Jollick Manor, was charged with simple assault by city police Tuesday. According to the criminal complaint, Jackson threw a glass jar at a woman and whipped her in the face with a charging cable at his residence Monday.
