BLAINE
Theft: A 45-year-old resident reported Saturday to state police that someone stole a rifle with a scope and several tools from his detached garage on First Street. Police said five tool bags were stolen with miscellaneous tools inside, along with two plastic totes full of tools, 10 DeWalt batteries with chargers, a nail gun, table saw and hammer drill.
CANONSBURG
Crash: A motorcyclist was struck on Morganza Road Wednesday night by a vehicle driven by a woman who police said appeared to be intoxicated. Borough police reported that about 9:12 p.m., a vehicle behind the motorcyclist struck him, causing his motorcycle to strike the car in front of him on the Phillip Murray Bridge. Police said that when they arrived, the motorcyclist was lying in the median, but was alert and conscious. Police said the woman driving the first car told them she had consumed a few drinks at Guntown Bar. When police did a breath test, they said her blood-alcohol content was 0.21 percent. Charges have not been filed. The motorcyclist’s condition was not available.
MONESSEN
Man wanted: Roderick J. Jones, 30, of 1315 Summit Ave., Monessen, is wanted by state police on charges stemming from a traffic stop about 2:40 a.m. June 15 on McMahon Street that produced illegal prescription medication, a firearm and marijuana and cocaine, court records show. Jones is facing charges of drug possession with intent to deliver, carrying a firearm without a license, drug possession and fleeing from police. District Judge Charles Christner signed a warrant Wednesday for Jones’ arrest.

Man jailed: Jeremy Michael Fritz, 28, of 62 Rebecca St., Roscoe, is charged by Roscoe, Elco, Stockdale and Allenport Regional police with simple assault and harassment, court records show. Police accuse Fritz of head-butting Jennifer Buttermore in the face about 9:40 a.m. Thursday in his residence. Fritz was placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bail set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.
WASHINGTON
Open lewdness: City police said they responded Wednesday night to the 200 block of South College Street for a report of an intoxicated naked man getting in and out of a gray van. Police said that when they arrived, the man was sitting nude on the sidewalk drinking beer. Police said the man covered himself with a blanket and told them he was a nudist.
