Retail theft charges: Julie Ann Strosnider, 37, of 67 Dazzell St., Bobtown, was charged by Greene County Regional police with seven counts of retail theft and one count of defiant trespass following an incident in February at the BFS Foods store at 106 Gas Company Road. Police said they reviewed surveillance footage that showed Strosnider putting items from the store into her purse and not paying for them Feb. 7. Police said Strosnider was not permitted on any BFS Foods property.

Fleeing an officer: Tyler William Grim, 22, of 168 Larimer Ave., Bobtown, was charged by Greene County Regional police with fleeing an officer and 24 summary traffic violations following a “low-speed” pursuit that began on Gas Company Road Monday night. Police said they tried to initiate a traffic stop about 7:19 p.m., but the driver, Grim, didn’t stop. Police said he put his hazard lights on but didn’t drive faster than 45 mph. Police said Grim kept driving for 7.4 miles, until he came to a residence, exited the vehicle and entered the residence. Police said they told Grim to stop and get back into the vehicle multiple times. Grim, who had 11 warrants for his arrest, fled the home, police said. Grim’s brother, the passenger in the car, gave police Grim’s information and told police that Grim was afraid to pull over because of the warrants.
