Assault alleged: Patricia Lynn Thomas, 57, of 212 Sussex Way, was charged with strangulation and simple assault by township police Wednesday. According to the criminal complaint, Thomas choked, punched, grabbed and scratched her husband Wednesday evening. She was released from the Washington County jail after posting $10,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. May 28 before District Judge Jesse Pettit.
