CUMBERLAND

Crash: Logan Ryan Decker, 24, of 263 Hunting Hills Road, Dilliner, was charged by township police with leaving the scene of an accident and a summary traffic violation following a hit-and-run crash at 8:45 a.m. May 3 on Crucible Road. Police said a man reported that he was driving on Crucible Road when Decker’s oncoming truck crossed the center line and struck his mirror. Decker allegedly didn’t stop following the crash.

FRANKLIN

Retail theft charge: Shawn Ryan Harden, 35, of an unknown address, was charged by state police with receiving stolen property and retail theft after police said they found him in a stolen vehicle in the Sheetz parking lot on Murtha Drive. Police said Harden allegedly admitted to breaking into a garage in West Virginia and stealing the car before driving it to Waynesburg. Harden also allegedly stole a pack of peanuts from Sheetz.

Welfare fraud alleged: Jessica R. Srbinovich, 36, of 352 S. Willis St., Bobtown, was charged by the state Office of Inspector General with welfare fraud for allegedly obtaining Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits last year that she was ineligible to obtain. According to the criminal complaint, Srbinovich collected $1,776 in SNAP benefits from March 8, 2018, through Aug. 31, 2018, but failed to report that her daughter was employed and earning wages from October 2017 through Aug. 31, 2018.
