Holbrook man jailed on sex assault charges
A Holbrook man is in jail after he allegedly was caught having sex with his coworker’s 15-year-old daughter last week.
Cumberland Township police said they responded Thursday night to a residence for the report of a rape. The girl’s father had left his residence temporarily, and when he returned about 8 p.m., he said he found his coworker, David Holcomb, 33, having sex with his 15-year-old daughter on the couch.
Police arrested Holcomb, who stated that “he messed up,” according to the criminal complaint. Police said Holcomb knew the girl was 15.
Holcomb was charged with statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors, indecent exposure and indecent assault of a person less than 16 years old. He was arraigned Friday afternoon by District Judge Lee Watson and jailed on $25,000 bond.
