Pedestrian struck by on-duty detective identified
The pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle driven by an on-duty Washington County detective Wednesday night in Amwell Township has been identified.
Marquis Anthony Drew, 29, of South Bend, Ind., was struck shortly before 8 p.m. along National Pike, according to the Washington County coroner. The cause of death is pending autopsy.
Additional details have not been released.
State police and the state Attorney General’s office are investigating.
