NAACP hosts MLK celebration

The NAACP will host the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. birthday celebration at 4 p.m. Sunday at Friendship Baptist Church, 17 E. Walnut St., Washington.

Guest speaker is the Rev. Dr. Richard W. Wingfield, pastor, United Baptist Church.

The public is invited.
