Public hearing on Saturday opening-day hunting to convene in Mon Valley
The House Game and Fisheries Committee will host a public hearing on the issue of new Saturday opening day of the rifle deer season.
The committee, of which state Rep. Bud Cook, R-West Pike Run, will convene the hearing from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 20, at the Mon Valley Career and Technical Center, 5 Guttman Ave., Speers.
