Cause of North Franklin Township fire unknown

The state police fire marshal’s office said it was unable to determine the cause of a fire Tuesday that damaged a house in North Franklin Township.

The fire started about 3:15 p.m. on the exterior of the house at 152 Fulton St. near its back porch, state police said.

The house was occupied by William Allen, 60, and Christopher and Gloria Corbin, both 39, the police report stated.

The fire resulted in $26,000 in damages to the house and its contents, the report indicated.
