Portion of Peters Township road to close for repairs

A section of Sugar Run Road in Peters Township will close between Venetia and Mingo Church roads beginning Friday until August 16, according to a PennDOT District 12 news release.

Crews will perform maintenance on the railroad crossing, the release said.

A marked detour will be in place using Venetia Road, Route 88 and Mingo Church Road to Route 1059, the release said.
