A Monongahela man was shot and killed early Friday in Allegheny County.

Allegheny police were investigating the death of Seth Andrew McDermit, 31, the county’s medical examiner said.

McDermit was pronounced dead at 3:03 a.m. at the scene of the shooting in the 800 block of Island Avenue in McKees Rocks.
