Body found in Monessen sewer drain
No foul play is suspected in the death of a Monessen man whose body was found Thursday morning in a street sewer drain, the Westmoreland County coroner’s office.
The death of Kevin Davis, 60, of Monessen was under investigation, said a spokesman for Coroner Ken Bacha.
His office was called to Rebecca Street at 8:46 a.m. after a witness noticed part of Davis’ body in the deteriorating drain.
Investigators were not sure how his body made its way into the sewer, the coroner’s office said.
