WASHINGTON

Man jailed: Darnell Steven Brown II, 21, of 15 McNary St., Houston, is charged by city police with carrying a firearm without a license, resisting arrest and reckless endangerment, court records show. Police said Brown ran from a traffic stop and jumped over a nearly 20-foot wall during a foot chase that began at West Chestnut Street and Canton Avenue shortly before midnight Wednesday. District Judge Robert Redlinger sent Brown to Washington County jail on $20,000 bond.
