Motorcyclist flown from scene of Canton crash
A motorcyclist was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital Wednesday afternoon after a crash in Canton Township.
According to a Washington County 911 supervisor, the accident occurred shortly after 1 p.m. in the 3100 block of West Chestnut Street.
The male driver, who was not identified, was conscious before being transported to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital by medical helicopter, the supervisor said.
Responding to the crash were Canton and North Franklin Township volunteer fire departments, Ambulance and Chair Service and state police.
