The goats are back in town
A herd of goats is drawing attention in downtown Canonsburg, where the four-legged attraction is working through the end of summer to clear brush and overgrowth along Chartiers Creek. The borough first welcomed Goatscape Allegheny’s crew in April, when two herds started landscaping along both Four Coins Drive and Adams Avenue. Now the goats are back for round two, and drew enthusiastic visitors to their East Pike Street “home office” Saturday afternoon, when Maureen Butor and her two grandchildren, Selah Butor, 6, and Chatham Butor, 3, dropped by to say hello. “Even the postal delivery woman … knows how much I love the goats,” Maureen Butor laughed as she and her grandchildren watched the goats hard at work.
