MVCTC students fare well at World of Wheels event
Students from Mon Valley Career and Technical Center won awards at the World of Wheels competition last weekend at the David Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh.
About 45 MVCTC students competed with the seven vehicles the school entered.
The awards were won for the following:
- 1981 Volkswagen Rabbit Pickup – first place
- 1984 Volkswagen Rabbit Convertible – class
- 1951 Mercury Coupe – second place
- 1960 Chevrolet Coupe – class
- 1967 Utravan – first place
- 2003 Harley Davidson Sportster – class
- 1972 Schwinn Twinn Deluxe – first place
“We are extremely proud of our students’ efforts,” said Neil Henehan, MVCTC director.
