Rostraver police investigating after 4-year-old shot
Rostraver Township police are investigating after a 4-year-old was found with a gunshot wound to the head.
Police found the child at a home in the 100 block of Gaudio Drive at about 11:45 a.m.
According to a press release from the office of Westmoreland County District Attorney Nicole Ziccarelli, the child was flown by helicopter to UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh. Additional details on the child’s condition were not immediately available.
According to the release, Rostraver police and Westmoreland County detectives continue to investigate the incident.
