Stolen gun: Washington police issued an arrest warrant over the weekend for Patrick Christopher Adams, 37, of Washington on charges of prohibited possession of a firearm, receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. According to the criminal complaint, about 6 p.m. Oct. 23 police pulled Adams over on Highland Avenue due to lack of registration. Police said Adams consented to a search after officers smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle. According to the complaint, police found a handgun that had been reported stolen out of Cecil Township.
Stolen gun: Adam Sykora, 39, and Patrice McNabb, 52, both of Washington, are each charged by Washington police with prohibited possession of a firearm. According to the criminal complaint, police were called to their home in the 400 block of Second Street shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday following reports they were fighting over a firearm. Police said surveillance footage shows the altercation on the front porch, and McNabb gaining possession of the gun and throwing it into the yard. Police found the gun had been reported stolen by Peters Township Police. Sykora and McNabb were each arraigned before District Judge James Saieva, who sent them to the Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.
