Robinson Township man charged in sexual assault of juvenile
A Robinson Township man faces several charges in connection with multiple alleged sexual assaults last year.
McDonald police charged Dakota Wayne Dillon, 31, Wednesday with felonies of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, endangering welfare of children and corruption of minors.
According to the criminal complaint, in October 2022, a 13-year-old female reported being assaulted by Dillon multiple times earlier that month at his Sunset Drive home.
Court records also accuse Dillon of pressuring the victim to drink alcohol and “frequently” messaged her on Snapchat.
A person whom police described as an acquaintance of Dillon provided investigators with a written statement claiming Dillon had confessed to the assaults.
Dillon was arraigned Wednesday morning before District Judge Louis McQuillan, who sent him to the Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 11 a.m. Nov. 30.
