Three people, who were arrested last month in connection with a drive-by shooting in July in which nearly two-dozen bullets struck a Canonsburg house, were ordered to stand trial on all charges Friday.

Dillon Lavelle Britt and Brett Mikhail Carroll are facing attempted homicide and other felony charges following the early morning shooting in the 500 block of Perry Como Street in which a woman, her adult son and 6-year-old granddaughter were inside.

No one was injured, but the house was struck by 21 bullets, according to Canonsburg police.

Witnesses saw a minivan driving through the area at the time, and surveillance videos showed the vehicle as well. The vehicle’s license plate was registered to Jessica Chatman-Carroll, who is accused of driving during the shooting while Britt and Carroll allegedly fired out of the van’s open windows.

Chatman-Carroll, who is charged with conspiracy to commit attempted homicide, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment, testified for the prosecution Friday despite her preliminary hearing coinciding with that of her two co-defendants. She did not have an attorney representing her at the joint preliminary hearing Friday morning in Washington County Central Court.

In addition to attempted homicide, Britt, 31, of Canonsburg, and Carroll, 30, of Washington, are also facing charges of aggravated assault, possession of a prohibited firearm, firearms carried without a license, discharging a firearm into an occupied structure and reckless endangerment. Both are being held in the Washington County jail on $350,000 cash bond. Chatman-Carroll, 34, of Houston, is free on $100,000 unsecured bond.

District Judge James Saieva Jr. ordered the three co-defendants to stand trial on all charges following the hour-long hearing. All three defendants were arrested in early September after Canonsburg police filed charges against them on Aug. 31.
