A Donora man faces charges in two cases related to the sexual assault of juveniles.

Wesley Haynes, 40, faces felonies of endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors and indecent assault.

Donora police charged Haynes Friday, though the investigation that led to the charges began in January.

According to the criminal complaint, it was then that a 14-year-old girl reported that Haynes had started assaulting her when she was 13. While investigating, police spoke to an 18-year-old woman who said Haynes had also assaulted her when she was 15 to 17 years old, court documents state.

Donora police charged Haynes in separate cases.

He was arraigned Friday night before District Judge Kelly Stewart, who sent him to the Washington County jail without bond.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. Oct. 25.
