PennWest California celebrated a “Back to the Future” Homecoming with a number of festivities Saturday.

The Party on the Patio involved a special 50th anniversary welcome to the Class of 1973. There also was the annual Homecoming Parade, with Bruce Wald, California class of 1985 and a longtime university employee, serving as grand marshal.

Sarah Seader, of Centerville, and Darrek Harshberger, of Duncansville, were crowned homecoming queen and king at halftime of the football game, a 41-14 victory over Seton Hill.
