Eighty Four boy dies after being found unresponsive in a pool
A 4-year old from Eighty Four died after being found unresponsive in an outdoor swimming pool on Saturday.
Liam Vanderlee was at a birthday party in Washington Township, Fayette County, when he was found in the pool around 2:30 p.m., officials said.
Washington County Coroner Tim Warco said the child was transported to Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead just before 7 p.m.
Vanderlee’s cause of death is pending autopsy.
Washington Township police are investigating.
