Midway man killed in motorcycle crash
A Midway man died Sunday afternoon after losing control of his motorcycle on Route 22 in Robinson Township.
The Washington County coroner identified the driver as Martin Cowden, 52.
According to the coroner’s report, Cowden was driving east about 3:45 p.m. when he lost control near mile marker 11, crashing into a guide rail. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A cause and manner of death have not been determined. He was wearing a helmet.
State police are investigating the accident. They were assisted at the scene by Fort Cherry EMS, Midway Fire Department and the state Department of Transportation.
