Department of Corrections to host job fairs at SCI-Fayette and SCI-Greene
Representatives from the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections (DOC) are hosting job fairs to fill openings at state prisons in Fayette and Greene counties.
Both SCI-Fayette in Labelle and SCI-Greene in Waynesburg are hiring corrections officer trainees. Additionally, SCI-Greene is looking to hire a dentist, a licensed psychology manager and a medical records technician.
The job fair in Fayette County will be held at the prison, 421 Labelle Road, on Tuesday, Sept. 26, from 3 to 7 p.m. The Greene County job fair will also be held at the prison, 169 Progress Drive, on Wednesday, Sept. 27, from 3 to 7 p.m.
No appointment or registration is required. Attendees may have to pass through a security screening to enter the facility, and no drugs or weapons are allowed on prison property. All attendees are encouraged to apply to positions prior to arrival to the event at cor.pa.gov/careers.
On-site interviews will take place the day of the event for corrections officer trainees. Interested applicants are asked to bring two forms of identification.
