North Strabane Township’s new pickleball courts await action Tuesday afternoon. The three pickleball courts were completed earlier this week, and are situated beside the renovated basketball court at the park.

North Strabane Park was the place to be Tuesday morning, when adults and kids alike hit the trails and climbed the playgrounds beneath a warm autumn sun. JP Griffin, 4, of Strabane, expertly scootered the paved paths and parking lots with his mom, Emily Brooks, while Laney Wilcox and Brittney McConville got their steps in before their children ran around the playground. The recently renovated basketball court was put to good use, while the township’s new pickleball courts waited for players to try them out. There will be plenty of opportunity to test the three courts (and visit the park) this week, with sunshine and warm temperatures expected through Friday.
