Two Pittsburgh residents were among the three people who were killed in a two-vehicle crash in Springfield Township, Fayette County, over the weekend, state police said Monday.

Police identified Peter Zepf, 28, and Katelin Lorch, 25, both of Pittsburgh, and Raymond Ramage, 38, of Connellsville, as the three who died in a crash on Springfield Pike near its intersection with Mount Tabor Road at about 5:55 p.m. Sunday. Police said two others were injured, but did not identify them.

Authorities said Ramage was driving east on Springfield Pike and collided with Zepf’s vehicle, which was headed west, at an angle. Lorch was a passenger in Zepf’s vehicle, according to police. All three were declared dead at the scene.

The two people who were injured were taken to Forbes Hospital in Pittsburgh by ambulance. Police did not specify which vehicle was carrying the injured passengers.

State police continue to investigate the accident.
