CENTERVILLE

Dog attack: Saundra Kushak, 37, of Centerville, is charged by the Pennsylvania Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement with misdemeanors of dangerous dog attack, not maintaining a dog in a proper enclosure and for a dog without a muzzle or supervision. According to the criminal complaint, at about 5:30 p.m. Sept. 22, Kushak’s two German shepherds attacked another dog and ran loose in the area of 10 Fishpot Road. Police said Kusak had previously been convicted on a non-traffic citation in April 2022 for harboring dangerous dogs due to two shepherds. Kushak was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Joshua Kanalis, who sent her to the Washington County jail without bond. Online court records indicate that Kushak is a defendant in multiple cases, and was already out on bail.
