Caesars Entertainment Launches Horseshoe Online Casino in Pennsylvania and West Virginia
Expanding its digital footprint, Caesars Entertainment recently launched its Horseshoe Online Casino in Pennsylvania. This was quickly followed by a launch in West Virginia. First debuting in Michigan last month, these two new entries mark the second and third states to introduce Caesar’s Horseshoe-branded online casino platform.
For players in regions where Horseshoe Online Casino isn’t available, exploring no verification casino options offers an alternative way to access a variety of games. Many of these sites offer exclusive games like “5 Rings of Darkness” and “Danger High Voltage 2” and allow users to participate in sports betting, online blackjack, and other live casino games. At such sites, players can also sign up and start playing immediately without having to undergo long know-your-customer (KYC) procedures, something that isn’t possible at the Horseshoe casino.
Now that West Virginia and Pennsylvania are on board, Caesars Entertainment is looking to further expand. The company has plans to extend Horseshoe Online Casino to Ontario and New Jersey by the end of 2024. By expanding to these locations, it would allow Caesars to reach each U.S. state with legalized options while also forming an online gaming presence in Canada.
The Chief iGaming Officer and Senior Vice President at Caesars Digital, Matt Sunderland, stated that the brand’s legacy it established in traditional gaming, deserves an online equivalent, prompting the creation of Horseshoe Online Casino. Mr. Sunderland went on to emphasize that Horseshoe’s commitment to player-centric experiences continues to remain one of the digital platform’s core priorities.
Pennsylvania now has a total of 23 licensed online casinos with the arrival of Horseshoe Online Casino in the state. This also means that Caesars Entertainment currently operates three brands within the state. These are Tropicana Online Casino, Caesars Palace Online Casino, and now Horseshoe. This multi-brand approach was made possible through the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB), permitting licensees to operate multiple online casino brands within the state.
With Horseshoe Online Casino expanding to West Virginia, this addition brings the state’s total to 10 online casino operators. West Virginia’s online gaming industry includes top sports betting-integrated online casinos like FanDuel and DraftKings. This includes other prominent names like Golden Nugget, BetRivers, Fanatics Casino, and BetMGM.
The President of Caesars Digital, Eric Hession, acknowledged Caesars Palace Online Casino’s strong brand presence, which has been in operation for more than a year. Mr Hession stated that although Horseshoe will complement Caesars Palace Online Casino, it won’t outshine the already well-established online casino.
Caesar Entertainment’s goal of expanding Horseshoe Online Casino into all stages with legalized online casinos is a strategic move to strengthen the brand’s influence in the digital gaming market. The brand, along with other major operators, has already demonstrated the potential economic gains from online gaming. The continued expansion of the online gaming industry could potentially pave the way for more jurisdictions to embrace online gambling platforms in the coming years. This will further solidify the U.S. as a powerful online gaming market.
