Fire companies respond to Long Branch fire

Multiple fire companies responded to a barn fire in Long Branch Wednesday.

At least a dozen fire departments from multiple counties responded to a barn fire in Long Branch Wednesday afternoon. According to a Washington County 911 supervisor, crews were called to the 500 block of Mt. Tabor Road just before 12:30 p.m. There were no animals or people inside the barn, according to 911. As of 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters were still trying to knock down the fire down. Roscoe and Stockdale fire departments were among the first to arrive on scene. According to 911, fire departments from Fayette, Westmoreland and Allegheny counties also responded.
