Washington man dies in motorcycle crash
A Washington man was killed in a motorcycle crash Monday afternoon in Amwell Township.
Noah Nicholas Polites, 20, lost control of his motorcycle and struck a guardrail near 203 Amity Ridge Road at around 2:45 p.m., the Washington County coroner’s office said in a news release.
Polites was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:01 p.m. The cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy.
He was not wearing a helmet, according to the coroner. He was the sole rider on the motorcycle.
State police are investigating.
Assisting at the scene were Ambulance and Chair Service, and Amwell and Lone Pine fire departments.
